Faculty, staff, and student awards during 2010
  • The Eberly College of Science 2010 Staff Awards were given to Eric White, Customer Service Award and Donna Sosnoski, Research Technical Support Award on November 11, 2010.
  • The Alumni Society's Distinguished Service Award was given to Craig Cameron, October 1, 2010.
  • Carl Sillman was selected by the Peer Teaching Evaluation Committee to receive the Paul M. Althouse Outstanding Instructor Teaching Award.
  • Don Bryant was selected by the Peer Teaching Evaluation Committee to receive the Daniel R. Tershak Memorial Teaching Award.
  • Craig Cameron was selected as one of this year's recipients of the Alumni Society's Distinguished Service Awards. (10/10)
  • Tracy Vrablik (Hanna-Rose) was awarded the 2010/2011 Richard L. and Norma L. McCarl Graduate Scholarship Endowment in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. (9/10)
  • Allison Saunders (Booker) has been awarded the 2010/2011 Richard L. and Norma L. McCarl Graduate Scholarship Endowment in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. (9/10)
  • Ashley Hill (Kao) was awarded the Althouse Outstanding Teaching Assistant Award. (9/10)
  • Stephanie Lange (Hanna-Rose) lab has been chosen honorable mention for the Althouse Outstanding Teaching Assistant Award. (9/10)
  • Lorraine Lewis was recognized as the August ECoS Star recipient for providing outstanding service to the students and the college. (9/10)
Awardees of the next two awards were selected by the Peer Teaching Evaluation Committee

  • Don Bryant received the 2010 Daniel R. Tershak Memorial Teaching Award. (8/10)

  • Marta Reviriego-Mendoza placed third in the Health and Life Sciences Division at the  2010 Graduate Research Exhibition.  Marta's presentation was titled, "JC virus interacts with SCFbeta-TrCP, a degradation machine of the cell." (3/10)

  • Dan Cordek won the Graduate School Outstanding TA Award. (2/10)
