I'm from New Jersey. I graduated with a BS in Forensic and Investigative Science (emphasis in forensic biology), and Biology from West Virginia University. I also have a minor history, I chose to come to Penn State because of the quality research that is being completed in the program, as well as, the well-rounded experience that coursework has to offer. In my free time, I enjoy cooking, reading, skiing, and spending time outdoors.

I am In Dr. Reena Roy's lab. The research project I am working on is using nanotechnology to enhance partial bloody fingerprints with columnar thin films (CTFs). After these fingerprints have been developed with CTF, short tandem repeat (STR) DNA analysis and massively parallel sequencing (MPS) are being completed on these samples.
