My research investigates the electrochemical synthesis of fuels and chemicals from carbon dioxide. I am studying electrolyzers based on bipolar membranes and new alloy catalysts for CO2 reduction and water oxidation. By applying various electroanalytical techniques, we can probe the parameters that affect the current density, selectivity, Faradaic efficiency and stability of the electrolysis process.
