Main Content

05 May 2014 — On Saturday, May 10, 2014 at the Eberly College of Science commencement ceremony, graduates from each department are recognized individually. A single outstanding student is nominated by each department to carry the standard of their major in the ceremony. As the Biochemistry and Molecular Biology Department awards degrees in three majors, it nominates three students. The Biochemistry and Molecular Biology Department is honored to have the following students represent their majors:

Diane Libert  will carry the standard for the BMB major. She will be escorted by Professor Joseph Reese. For the Microbiology major, Yee Voan Teo has the honor, and she chose to be escorted by Dr. Carl Sillman. Last but not least, Kanageswari Govindaraju will carry the banner for the Biotechnology major, and she will be escorted by Dr. Maria Krasilnikova.

Congratulations on this honor, and thank you for serving the Department in this way.
