Gail Wasserman Undergraduate Research Funds Awarded

2 April 2014 - Schreyer Honors College students Shelby Foster and Amanda Reese of the Eberly College of Science were awarded Undergraduate Research Funds from Dr. Gail Folena-Wasserman.

Dr. Gail Folena-Wasserman earned her master’s degree in Biochemistry in 1979 and a doctorate in Chemistry in 1982 from The Pennsylvania State University. In 2003, Folena-Wasserman received the Penn State Eberly College of Science’s Outstanding Science Alumni Award. This year Dr. Folena-Wasserman donated personal funds which were matched by her employer, Medimmune to be awarded to female students of the BMB department doing undergraduate research.
