Ryan Henrici Awarded the Wedler Outstanding Undergraduate Dissertation Award
24 April 2015 — Undergraduate student, Ryan Henrici, majoring in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology with the Molecular & Cell Biology option was chosen as the recipient of the 2015 Fred Wedler Outstanding Dissertation Award. This award provides funding and recognition to outstanding full-time students who write the best thesis paper.
Ryan's research project title is "Structural and Biochemical Characterization of Chromatin Enzymes". He works in the research
group headed by research faculty member, Song Tan.
Ryan was selected the winner among 4 nominees for the Wedler Award for the best undergraduate thesis. Seven honors advisers judged the nominees and he received the highest number of first place votes. The award carries a significant cash prize, as well as his name will be engraved on the Wedler Award plaque.
