Calling all undergraduates, graduate/medical students and postdoctoral scholars interested in cancer research!


The Penn State Cancer Institute is hosting Cancer Research Day on:

Saturday, October 20, 2018

9:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.

Berg Auditorium,
University Park Campus

The day will provide attendees the opportunity to meet students and faculty from both University Park as well as Hershey who are currently conducting cancer research.

There will also be presentations from invited speakers:

  • Dr. Gideon Bollag, a PSU chemistry alum who developed the first targeted BRAF drug for melanoma.


  • Dr. Jonathan Wiest, Director of Education and Training for the National Cancer Institute


There are opportunities for attendees to present a poster of their research at the event and breakfast and lunch will be provided.
